The dentist is an amazing guy who I felt actually really tried to save my tooth with a filling rather than just taking out the tooth. Only frustration was booking time but I do appreciate that this is due to high demand with later appointments due to working. I wouldn't rate the service less due to this because I feel that the dentist is worth the wait. Assistant with the dentist was also very professional and overall great experience. This was a first visit to the practice. The staff were friendly and the reception area was spacious, comfortable and felt Covid-safe. Being of a certain age it was a real bonus to find that we could be treated on the ground floor. Dr Patel welcomed us warmly and kindly persuaded me to take my time making my way to the surgery. She assessed each of us efficiently, explaining treatment options clearly, with excellent use of visual aids. We had ample opportunity to ask questions and next steps were discussed. We left with our care plans and early second appointments in our diary. Thank you for this reassuring and very professional consultation.

While any dental treatment is never pain free, the anesthetic functioned well. My initial consultation was excellent, but then I wasn’t informed that my mouth guard was delayed so we had a wasted appointment on my day off (I came back early from holiday for it) and have since really struggled to book another appointment because it’s hard to get time off work and the hours are limiting. Better communication would be appreciated. Also, I’m still waiting for a response to my referral to have my wisdom teeth removed.
